  1. 3/4 cup + 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  2. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  3. 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  4. 2 cups semisweet chocolate*
  5. 2/3 cup bittersweet chocolate*
  6. Unsweetened Cocoa for dusting
  7. * * You will need a packet of each type of chocolate.
  1. In a medium sized heavy bottomed saucepan, heat cream and butter until the butter melts, then remove from the heat. Allow to cool for 3 minutes.
  2. Add Grand Marnier and mix. Add chocolate (the cream will still be hot enough to melt the chocolate) and stir until smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl and refrigerate until firm enough to form balls.
  3. Form balls - about 1 to 2 teaspoon sized, and refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Roll balls in cocoa and return them to the refrigerator for at least an hour. Serve truffles at room temperature.
  1. * Replace the Grand Marnier with your favorite liqueur such as Baileys Irish Cream or Creme de Menthe.
  2. * Roll the truffles in coconut or chopped nuts rather than cocoa
